The Shutter Hub OPEN 20/21 ran from 01 September – 10 October 2021 at the Gallery Café at St. Margaret’s House in Bethnal Green, London, bringing together international photographers and promoting the future of photography through diverse and creative imagery, in a wonderful community space that has been supporting arts and wellbeing for more than a century.
Our Best in Show award was created as a fun and engaging way to involve more people in responding to photography, it’s very much about audience participation and connecting people through images, so it’s an extra-special delight to be able to announce, not one winner of the Best in Show, but four! Four! The votes were counted, and counted again, and though some amazing coincidence, and a real sense of community and democracy, the accolade of Shutter Hub OPEN 20/21 Best in Show is shared between Naomi James, Sarah Ketelaars, Marianne van Loo, and David Morgan-Davies. Huge congratulations to you all!
