We opened the Shutter Hub OPEN 20/21 in the Gallery Café at St. Margaret’s House in Bethnal Green, London, on 01 September and wow does it feel good to see all that creative imagery filling the walls!
It’s been a long time coming, much longer than we would have liked, but when our original plan to exhibit in Amsterdam couldn’t go ahead due to COVID-19 we considered all our options, consulted the photographers whose work had been selected for the exhibition, and are extremely pleased to be able to present this glorious exhibition at St. Margaret’s House!
St. Margaret’s House is a unique charity supporting creativity and wellbeing in the heart of Bethnal Green. You may remember that we exhibited GIRL TOWN there as part of London Photomonth in 2016 and we’re absolutely delighted to be back in such a fantastic community place.
The Shutter Hub OPEN 20/21 brings together international photographers in a selected exhibition and promotes the future of photography through diverse and creative imagery. It’s great to see these impactful Newspaper Club prints filling the walls at the Gallery Café!
