CALL FOR LOCATIONS: Postcards from Great Britain Pop-up Exhibitions in Europe

The original plan for Postcards from Great Britain was that we would be taking the postcards to different locations around mainland Europe throughout 2020, but things didn’t quite work out that way. Instead we came up with another way – we couldn’t travel but the postcards could!

Thanks to our friends in mainland Europe we managed to hold 9 Postcards from Great Britain exhibitions in 6 European countries. We sent them everything they needed to put the exhibition together (including the tape!) and they displayed them where they could be seen by the public. They sent us installation images we could share on our website, and you can have a good look through them all here.

Now that the call for entries has come to a close, we’re going to do another run of pop-up exhibitions in 2021. Our wonderful partners Fujifilm Original Photo Paper are helping us print a brand new selection of images and we’re looking for more locations to continue popping up!

Can you put us in touch with a location in mainland Europe that has a public facing window, workspace or public place that people will be able to see and would like to host a Postcards from Great Britain pop-up exhibition? Please get in touch and tell us more! We will send them an exhibition pack that will include everything they need, and we’ll make it as easy as possible to be involved. Thank you!
