Time is running out to get your image submissions in for YEARBOOK 2023, Shutter Hub’s annual directory of photographers which is promoted to photo editors, commissioners, art directors and other industry professionals.
With the deadline for entries on 07 July 2023 (5pm UK time), now’s your opportunity to pull together your best work, and let us help you share it with new audiences, for new opportunities.

YEARBOOK 2023 will be a group exhibition online promoted to people working within the photography industry – every entrant will have at least one image included and a series of YEARBOOK Awards with prizes from major industry organisations Alamy, GOST Books, Metro Imaging, Newspaper Club, Parallax Photographic Coop, PhotoShelter, and Vintage Camera Hut.
YEARBOOK is open to all photographers, whatever stage they are at in their career, their background or education. There’s no theme, so take the opportunity to promote your best work. Each photographer will have one or two images in the online exhibition, and there will be a link from your name to your website or social media (you’ll decide), so viewers will be able to link through to see more of your work. We will review all entered images but ultimately you should enter images that stand alone to represent your style, skills and the work you’d like to do more of as best they can.
The directory will be online, so it can be easily shared and accessed, in the same exhibition format as YEARBOOK 2022 and will reach our website audience of over 20,000 people per month. We’ll promote the show through our newsletter and social media with an audience of over 15,000 and to everyone we know who wants to see new photography!
There are no set entry fees for YEARBOOK, we’re asking you to ‘pay what you can’. If you’re lucky enough to be in employment, or getting financial support, we hope you’ll help us support those who aren’t.
We’re making this opportunity affordable for all photographers, but it isn’t cheap to produce. Please help support us by sharing what we do. We receive no external grants or funding, but we’re determined to do what we can to keep photography open to all.
