On Monday Shutter Hub’s Creative Development Director, Karen Harvey, was invited by Artist and Lecturer, Diana Ali, to visit Grantham College and talk about Professional Development with Level 3-5 students studying Photography and related subejcts.

Grantham College has its own Arts Centre with a theatre and excellent faciliites, including a darkroom (just along the corridor from the Mac suite!) for photography students who want to experiment with analogue processes. 

Karen’s talks covered subjects from how to make the transition from the academic environment into the working one, as well as ways of promoting your work and setting yourself apart from other photographers, and the importance of sharing your ideas.
