CURRENT EXHIBITION: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW CURRENT EXHIBITION: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

That image reminds me of something. It ignites a small flame that lights my way through the filing system of my mind. It brings me eventually to the hint of a memory, and that memory guides my interpretation of the image, influences my reaction, connects my thoughts and feelings, and threads them together, binding them into a new collection, to be drawn upon the next time something familiar arises.

Everything I have seen, felt, remembered, everything, influences and informs every thought I will ever have.

21 photographers from around the world come together in EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW, responding to our 2019 exhibition EVERYTHING I EVER LEARNT, and sharing their views on the world, on life and death, and everything in between.

CALL FOR ENTRIES: The City Series: Cambridge - A S CALL FOR ENTRIES: The City Series: Cambridge - A Shutter Hub Editions Publication

We’re inviting international photographers to capture Cambridge - a city of contrast and continuity. Along the river, historic stone buildings and quiet courtyards stoically reflect centuries of tradition while the streets around them pulse with movement as fleets of bicycles and pedestrians move between libraries, museums, galleries, and cafés.

Creative freedom is encouraged, and we want to see personal, emotional, and evocative images that come together to make a book that truly represents the city, its daily life and hidden gems. The project aims not only to spotlight creative talent but also to connect communities, promote cultural exchange, and encourage tourism.

We all like love, don’t we? But what does it look like to you?

Our next stop in our re-imagining of some of our favourite themes from the last decade is 2015’s Do You Like Love? exhibition at Salt & Pegram, Brick Lane as part of Photomonth East London International Photography Festival.

Whether love is something you chase, fear, remember, or celebrate, Do You Like Love? is an open-ended question, with a plethora of answers, and we’re inviting photographers to submit their work for our next Shutter Hub Editions publication and let us know what love looks like to them.

MEET UP: Leighton House and Sambourne House, Londo MEET UP: Leighton House and Sambourne House, London - 02 September 2025

Join us for a very special private visit of @leightonsambournemuseums in London on 02 September, 11.30am – 4pm.

This is an opportunity for photographers to have private access to these magnificent museum homes, take photographs, contribute to an online feature (which will promote your work to over 500,000/pa) and spend the day with like-minded people, making connections in inspiring locations.

Tucked away in Holland Park, Leighton House and Sambourne House stand as the extraordinary legacies left by Victorian artists Frederic Lord Leighton (1830-1896) and Edward Linley Sambourne (1844 -1910).

Leighton and Sambourne lived as neighbours for over 20 years, with the former the most prominent artist of his day and the latter as Chief Cartoonist for infamous satirical magazine Punch. Their similar aesthetic tastes were reflected in the furnishing of their homes, both filled with sculpture, blue and white ceramics and glassware.

A new exhibition by @worldpressphoto in collaborat A new exhibition by @worldpressphoto in collaboration with @pridephotoaward will open this summer in Amsterdam.

Since the 1970s, LGBTQIA+ communities around the world have worked to create environments where they can live, gather, and express themselves freely - away from the discrimination and hostility that many still face daily. Often described as “safe spaces,” these are both physical and emotional refuges where queer people can exist without fear, and where joy, resistance, and belonging can thrive.

Queer Havens is an exhibition of more than 40 works that explores what safe spaces look like, how they are built, and what they mean to the people who create and inhabit them. Co-curated with Pride Photo, the exhibition brings together twelve powerful photographic projects- six from the World Press Photo archive and six from Pride Photo - each offering a distinct lens on what it means to find or make safety as an LGBTQIA+ person today.

Salt sticky hair, ice cream smiles, sandcastles and sun-speckled freckles. Small boats, overfishing, plastic pollution and rising sea levels. As climate change imposes more circumstantial realities on us, the sea becomes ever more important in our everyday lives.

We reminisce on childhood holidays and collecting seashells, dog walks on the beach, and the soothing sound of gently lapping waves. But we must remember, although it’s bigger than all of us, vast and powerful, the sea very much needs us to look after it.
