Stewart Alexander

I’m a photographer based in Norfolk, UK. I left Falmouth School Of Art with a BA (Hons) degree in fine art photography during the mid 80’s. I left photography though to pursue a career in heritage visitor communication and traditional oral storytelling. I began using cameras again about 12 years ago and more seriously in the last 6 years.

I now concentrate on long form projects, working in multiple film formats and digital. Amongst the documentary projects that I’m currently working on are:  ‘Devoted’ which explores Catholic religious practice, ‘Requiem’ examines loss, tragedy and the consequences of conflict hidden and unnoticed in the East Anglian landscape, featuring the crash sites of military aircraft and ‘the Hundred’ which is an exploration of a small stream in Norfolk.
