I’m a photographer based in Norfolk, UK. I left Falmouth School Of Art with a BA (Hons) degree in fine art photography during the mid 80’s. Having left photography to pursue a career in heritage communication, I began using cameras again about 10 years ago.
I now work in multiple film formats and digital. I’m currently working on a couple of long form documentary projects with extremely divergent themes. ‘Devoted’ explores the contemporary veneration of St.Mary, featuring the Marion pilgrimages to Little Walsingham in Norfolk. ‘The Surly Bonds Of Earth’ examines loss, trauma and the consequences of war hidden in the East Anglian landscape. The numerous and intangible sites of plane crashes from WW2, are the primary focus of this project.
