Part of a study of an old industrial area, now newly designed. Reflecting the past and how it sits along side the modern. Taken through the window and without manipulation.

A street scene from several points of view. Reflections tell many stories.

An everyday street scene of the beauty of refraction without manipulation.

I am an abstract photographic artist living in London. After graduating in art photography, I pursued a successful career, including commercial work, exhibitions around the UK and abroad.

However my love of photography had started long ago with my fascination with light and the natural elements of photography. So more recently I decided to go back to my roots and once again explore the magic of natural light.

My work is about capturing natural light when it is at its most playful and colourful by way of refraction.

I am very interested in architecture and I believe that art has a great ability to change how an area can feel and and how you see it. So most of my work happens within an urban area. The very natural relationship of glass, reflections and refraction are the main elements of my work.

Glass is such a beautiful material. Urban windows offer such fascinating frames, showing  a representation, giving away so much but never telling the truth. What is inside? What is outside?

I seek to bring a unique perspective on city life through my lens without any filters or manipulation.
