Jemma Bannocks

After studying at The Byam Shaw School of Art, Jemma attended Kingston University of London where she gained her degree in Photography in 2013. A week after the degree show, she gave birth to her first and only child. Jemma has been in the care of the NHS Mental Health system since 2003 and was finally diagnosed with Recurrent Depressive Disorder and Comorbid Anxiety Disorder in 2018; Much of her current practice explores life with these conditions. She lives and works in Essex, UK.
