Join us on Friday 30 August 2024 for an afternoon of drop-in photography portfolio reviews at Caffeine & Machine: The Bowl.

Between 2 and 6pm, Karen Harvey MBE, Founder and Creative Director of Shutter Hub and AUTO PHOTO, will be hosting portfolio review sessions for photographers to bring their images along and receive expert feedback and advice, ask questions, and get guidance.

Karen has reviewed portfolios around the world for the likes of Vogue, Sony, Getty Images and FORMAT International Photography Festival, amongst many others. She is dedicated to creating fair access to photography and opening up opportunities for everyone. She’d love to see work by creative photographers who are looking for support and direction, who want to exhibit and publish their work, develop their networks, and connect with others.

This is the perfect opportunity to get feedback before submitting your work for AUTO PHOTO Awards 2024!

Photographers hoping to have their photography reviewed should bring it digitally on a laptop or tablet, or as prints. We are unable to review images on mobile phones.

And, even if you don’t want to have your work reviewed but have general questions about the ‘business of photography’ – including how to reach a wider audience, get published, and get paid commissions – come and get some advice!

Please note that drop-in sessions will start at 4pm, and portfolio reviews will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
