MEET UP: Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge

Share

You are invited to join us for a special Meet Up and private visit at Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge on 25 September 2023, 10.30 – 12.30pm.

A beautiful house filled with beautiful objects, Kettle’s Yard was once the home of H.S (Jim) Ede and his wife Helen. In the 1920s and 30s Jim had been a curator at the Tate Gallery in London and thanks to his friendships with artists and other like-minded people, he gathered a remarkable art collection, including paintings by Ben and Winifred Nicholson, Alfred Wallis, Christopher Wood, David Jones and Joan Miró, as well as sculptures by Henri Gaudier-Brzeska, Constantin Brancusi, Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. Next door to the house is the gallery that hosts modern and contemporary art exhibitions from a remarkable collection.

This will be a friendly, relaxed get-together where we can enjoy the beautiful light and space of Kettle’s Yard!

Photography is encouraged, so bring along your cameras and get creative – share your images from the day with us and we’ll showcase some images in a feature on the Shutter Hub website and across our social channels.

This event is free for and exclusive to Shutter Hub members and we are limited to a maximum of 10 spaces, so if you’d like to come along, RSVP here to secure your spot!
