The Creative Impact Award celebrates the achievements of automotive photographers who have made a significant impact in the community and industry. The recipient will, amongst other things, receive a bespoke trophy and be invited to join our panel of expert judges for the 2024 AUTO PHOTO Awards.
It’s been wonderful to see so many photographers appreciated and acknowledged by the AUTO PHOTO community, and we’re pleased to announce all 14 photographers nominated for the AUTO PHOTO Creative Impact Award 2023:
Larry Chen, Wayne Goodman, Ted Gushue, Matt Howell, Nikki Prince, Vasjen Katro, Phil McGovern, Ben Midlane, Danny Sleeuwenhoek, Thomas Walk, Martin Wall, Phillipp Rupprecht, Tom Shaxson, and Jeff Zwart.
Of all the nominated photographers, three have been shortlisted for the Creative Impact Award 2023, and they are:
The shortlisted photographers are invited to have work included in the next AUTO PHOTO book and exhibition. The overall winner of the AUTO PHOTO Creative Impact Award 2023 will receive a bespoke award, be invited to join the judging panel for the 2024 Awards, and get access to more amazing opportunities to get involved with AUTO PHOTO in the upcoming year.
AUTO PHOTO Awards are dedicated to showcasing the best in automotive photography, creating opportunities for collaborations and commissions, and uniting everyone through our shared passions. Aside from 15 top-tier awards, there are multiple opportunities for photographers to get their work seen and shared – in the AUTO PHOTO digital exhibition and the 100-image photobook.
The awards are judged by an expert selection panel from the photography and automotive industries including: Charles Gordon-Lennox, Duke of Richmond (Founder of Goodwood Revival and Festival of Speed), Alessia Glaviano (Head of Global PhotoVogue and Director of the Photo Vogue Festival), and Hugh Chambers, CEO of Motorsport UK.
