Naomi James
I am a teacher working in a South London borough.
Although a large proportion of my images are digital, I love using instant film, particularly Polaroid.
Lockdown Decay, All Our landscapes Reimagined, was an attempt to replicate my circumstances by containing Polaroid images of my everyday life in cleaning solutions and leaving them to decay. As restrictions were lifted, images were removed. In most cases, the original scenes were unrecognisable but had their own beauty which reflected some of the positive changes I experienced during this period.
