Alan Gignoux
Gignouxphotos is a documentary photography and web documentary company focussing on socio-political and environmental issues around the world.
Our commitment is to recording the effects of occupation and displacement on communities around the world. Long-term photographic projects have taken us to the Middle-East, North Africa, Canada, and beyond. Along the way, we’ve worked with NGOs such as Oxfam, CARE, and the British Council.
More recently, Gignouxphotos has documented the environmental and social legacy of the industrial exploitation of natural resources in North America and post-Soviet Russia.
We’ve covered environmental controversies, such as oil sands extraction in Alberta, Canada and mountaintop removal mining in Appalachia.
Our team brings together a group of highly skilled professionals – making fine art photography, photographer’s books and zines, multimedia web documentaries and touring photography exhibitions.
