DEADLINE APPROACHING: (RETURN) TO THE SEA (Call For Entries Closing Soon)

© Brent Jones

There’s just one week left to submit your images for (RETURN) TO THE SEA, before the deadline on 15 August 2024 (5pm BST).

In 2023, we launched TO THE SEA, a year-long exhibition on the French coast celebrating all of our visions of the sea. The exhibition featured over 400 images by 120 photographers from around the world. The exhibition has been such a pleasure that we’re re-exploring the theme with our next exhibition: (RETURN) TO THE SEA.

You’re invited to submit your work and join us in celebrating the sea. The exhibition will encompass multiple interpretations of the sea – environmental, actual or emotional. This call is open to creative interpretation – take the theme and go with it, wherever the tide takes you.

An ode to the ocean, something for the sea.

(RETURN) TO THE SEA will exhibit 24/7 from October 2024 – October 2025 (exact dates to be confirmed) at the Seafront Gallery, Worthing, an outdoor exhibition space on the beachfront which sees over 200,000 visitors a month, with space for us to showcase hundreds of images.

The deadline for (RETURN) TO THE SEA  is 15 August 2024 (5pm BST).

GET INVOLVED: Find out more and enter now.

Each entrant can submit up to 12 images. These can be from a series or individual images.

Entry fees: £8 per image

Once you’ve entered there are no further fees – if your work is selected we’ll print, promote, deliver and install everything. These conditions of entry allow exhibitors to save on print, framing and courier fees, which we hope encourages wider participation in our international exhibitions.
