We’re pleased to be supporting Critical Mass in 2023. We’ll be supporting the awards with a year’s Shutter Hub membership and portfolio review for one photographer, and creating an online feature promoting a selection of the Top 50 photographers on the Shutter Hub website.

PhotoLucida’s Critical Mass invites photographers at any level, from anywhere in the world, to submit a portfolio of 10 images. Through a pre-screening process, the field is narrowed to a group of 200 finalists who go on to have their work viewed and voted on by over 200 international photography professionals. From the Finalist group, the TOP 50 are named and a series of awards are given.

Shutter Hub Creative Director Karen Harvey will be joining the jury once again for Critical Mass, an annual online program that makes connections within the photography community. Critical Mass jurors are an international group of industry professionals representing a wide variety of photographic interests.

The deadline for entries to Critical Mass has been extended, and will now close on 7 July 2023, rather than 30 June as originally promoted.
