For every copy of POETRY sold, we’ll donate a copy to mental health charity Mind.
We recently donated 50 copies of our Shutter Hub Editions book POETRY to the Mind REST Hub in Norwich. We hoped to be able to help provide a distraction or moment of calm, but we weren’t expecting such a touching response. The images inspired many recipients to write stories and poems in response to them (including this piece of creative writing that we shared on Instagram). It’s meant so much to us to be able to make a small difference in someone’s life, that we don’t want to stop there.
Going forward, for every copy of POETRY sold, we’re pledging to give a copy to someone at a Mind REST Hub.
REST Hubs offer in-person, online and virtual support for anyone over the age of 18 facing mental health problems in need of help during their recovery. REST Hubs provide a supportive community for anyone who needs them, offering a source of calm in an anxious moment, and inspiring creativity.
POETRY – 100 poems without words. In this book, photographers from around the world share the images that express their feelings and ideas, exploring poetry in all its connotations and answering the question – what does poetry look like?
Life can be difficult, but we can be kind. Gift a moment of calm, and get your copy of POETRY from the Shutter Hub shop here. POETRY is also available to purchase in person from Art at the ARB for the duration of the Shutter Hub OPEN 23/24 exhibition.
