ORDER NOW: POETRY – A Shutter Hub Editions Publication

We are extremely excited that the first Shutter Hub Editions publication, POETRY, is now available to order in our online shop!

We invited photographers to fill our first edition with images around the theme of POETRY and we were overwhelmed with incredible images. While we weren’t asking for actual written poems, we asked entrants to think about things they see that are comparable to poems – images that expressed their feelings and ideas. We’ve all had so much to process, adapt to and take action on in recent months – we wanted this to be an opportunity for them to concentrate on work that gave them some respite, salve for your eyes and mind. We wanted to bring photographers together in print to present a publication that people can hold in their hands and spend time delving into for a moment of calm escapism.

POETRY is a beautiful book filled with a broad, wonderful selection of images, but it’s also intended to promote all the photographers within. We have included a QR code in the book itself so people can link straight through to a directory page where they can connect directly with each photographer.

The images in this book were selected from over 1000 entries. We invite you to connect with these photographers and explore more of their work online.' and a QR code. On the right are thumbnails of images from the book.

The crumpled sheets of an empty bed, fresh cut flowers in a drinking glass, cellophane dancing in a gust of wind – what does poetry look like?

In these 100 poems without words, photographers share the images that express their feelings and ideas, exploring poetry in all its connotations.
