Pamela Carr

First glimpse of colour and light returning to the dark days of winter. Dec 2019

Pamela Carr

Pamela Carr is a London artist exploring the paradox of colour, light and surface through photography. Colour is not fixed and touchable like surface, colour is always changing with every new combination of the time, angle and strength of light and surface.

Fascinated by this ungraspable nature of colour she explores it with abstract photography through the fleeting colours and multiple reflections of London’s urban waterways. Unexpected moments of connection and disorientation occur between colour, light and space; fleeting moments of colour and dreamlike spaces are revealed then suddenly gone.
