Kat Dlugosz

I am a photographer and videomaker based in Edinburgh. I studied at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen and at Edinburgh College of Art before graduating with a First Class Honors degree in Photography at Edinburgh Napier University in 2017.

Photography for me is a powerful storytelling tool. I am is interested in socio-political issues, with a special focus on feminism, migration, and human rights. Enabling the subjects to add their own voice to the conversation is an important part of my practice.

I work with both analogue and digital photography, and also with video format, which is the core of my commissioned freelance work.
