Mildly obsessed with photography since the age of 9, it’s been a slowly developing passion but always brewing in the background. The intention was always to capture the candid moment as it happened.
My family weren’t very happy with that style of pictures – their idea of family photos meant wearing your Sunday best and having a clean face. They still need convincing every now and then. Of all the pictures I’ve taken, my favourite is of my great-grandmother knitting in the same room she passed away in some years later.
More recently I’ve returned to analog as a complement to my digital pictures. I’m proud to be an AllFormat collective member and part of The Gate Darkroom (I develop film & print my own black and white pictures).
