Chris Gravett
In 2011 I jacked in my career to follow my passion for photography. I studied photography at the University of Westminster graduating with a first class honours BA Photography.
So now photography is what I do – primarily documentary projects and some live music but I enjoy all forms of photography.
Recent projects include:
“Twenty Days Later” – the aftermath of the Rana Plaza Disaster 2013
“Gravette the Heart of Hometown America” – a community in the backwaters of North West Arkansas
“Aftershock” – the real impact on people of the 2015 earthquake in Nepal
Current
“Project 28” – I travelled to and photographed a town in each of the 28 states of the EU in response to the UK’s EU referendum. Now I’m working on a book.
My work has been exhibited world-wide and has been acknowledged through international awards for both images and photobooks.
