The FORMAT Portfolio Reviews will take place on Friday 22nd April 2016 at QUAD in Derby. This review is the biggest and most international Portfolio Review in the UK, and Shutter Hub will be taking part this year, as well as sponsoring one of the prizes in the annual Portfolio Review Awards.
FORMAT has carefully selected 25+ international experts in the field of photography, from around the world to review for one day (Reviewer list below). Karen Harvey, Creative Development Director at Shutter Hub will be providing one-to-one reviews on the subject of ‘Developing your Photographic Career’.
In the evening after the Portfolio Walk on 22 April, FORMAT will host the FORMAT Portfolio Review Awards at QUAD. All photographers booked for the review are nominees. The awards will be judged by the Reviewers or chosen judges. Prizes include (more prizes TBC):
– One free place at the FORMAT Reviews (you will have to book and will be given your money back after the review)
– £500 credit to spend at Genesis Imaging
– £200 credit to spend at John E Wright, on printed materials, photographic prints and photo books
– Shutter Hub Award – free membership and 2 follow-up mentoring sessions
