Dominic Whiten

Dominic is based in the Suffolk coast, working both commercially and on personal projects. 

Originally trained as a darkroom printer and lab technician, Dominic worked for Keishi Colour, Metro Imaging and Tony Stone/Getty Images before establishing is own commercial practice in the early 2000’s. Since then, he’s become an established expert in his field, winning several awards and sitting on the TWIA judging panel since 2016. 

Whilst completing an MA in Photography with Falmouth University, his personal projects have focused on local issues, usually as small series, in an observational way steering away from polemic and categorisation.

Dominic’s work has appeared in various exhibitions and publications in the UK, Ireland and Spain.
