Postcards from Great Britain is a large-scale project from Shutter Hub that invited photographers to share their visions of British Culture through photographic images taken between 01 January and 31 December 2020.

We held exhibitions in 20 locations across Europe, showcasing thousands of postcard-sized images and culminating in a final showcase with Art at the ARB at the University of Cambridge, 12 January – 25 February 2022. As a lasting record of this project we have produced a catalogue containing every image submitted to Postcards from Great Britain, which will be housed in libraries and archives around the world and is available to purchase on our website.

At a significant time in European history this project set out to document and share aspects of British culture spanning all genres of photography, including social, political, historical, traditional and observational responses.
