We opened EVERYDAY DELIGHT on 05 December 2019 and were joined by the most lovely, supportive guests, all of whom had positive and kind things to say about the exhibition, and appreciated the 114 images, from 70 photographers, all sharing their little snippets of joy.
The exhibition will run until the end of February 2020, and we look forward to hearing more from Free Space Project on their visitors engagement and feedback.
We all need a bit more EVERYDAY DELIGHT in our lives!

EVERYDAY DELIGHT – an exhibition all about looking for the joy in the small things, finding the magic in what might at first appear mundane, and discovering the beauty in the everyday.It’s there, but you might not always be able to see it.
In a world where we seem to have more to worry about every day it’s not always easy to find the positive view, but we are hoping that this collation of over 100 images, will give viewers something to think about and to focus on temporarily, and perhaps to come away seeing things differently.

“The photographs in this exhibition are wonderful. The beautiful / odd / unusual subject matter can interest, engage and intrigue anyone and everyone, which is really important in the Health Centre setting.
Images where the subject is familiar or mundane, take on a new life when seen through the photographers lens, and a few images are taken from such an unusual angle it takes a few moments to work out what they actually are.
I went back to have another look, last week and overheard a couple waiting for their appointment picking out the images they liked best, and smiling about the subject matter of others.
People may not understand why something has been the subject of a photograph at all, but the fact that it has made them look and question, is great. Hopefully some will see small everyday things in a different light having seen the exhibition.”
