You can still catch our exhibition currently running at St Bride Foundation in London: The Transition of Time. The show will continue until 15th November, so it’s well worth catching if you haven’t taken a look already!

We asked for entrants to take their inspiration from the impact of the Industrial Revolution, and put forward images that demonstrate progression, inventions, traditions, industry and change. The works on show represent a range of styles and different interpretations of the theme, but still address the brief and make for a coherent selection of work. We were really impressed with the quality and imagination of the submissions to this exhibition, and we’re sure you will enjoy paying it a visit.

The exhibition was designed to complement the historical surroundings of St Bride Foundation, which was established in 1891 as a centre for social, cultural and recreational activities for the fast developing print and publishing trade of Fleet Street. The Theatre Bar itself houses two incredible Victorian contraptions – a ‘washing machine’ and ‘spin dryer’ as well as an original drying rack which was part of a large cabinet of racks designed by Charles Dickens and Lady Angela Burdett-Coutts: making it an interesting place to explore in itself!

The Transition of Time will run until Saturday 15th November 2014.
