Shutter Hub Old Truman Brewery
As last year Shutter Hub are proud to partner the second annual PHOTOMASTERS event which takes place as part of PHOTOMONTH East London International Photography Festival.
The PHOTOMASTERS event features the work of specially selected MA Photography Students, as part of Photoblock (which in turn is one of the many photographic events that comprise the Photomonth East London International Photography Festival). The event is hosted by The Old Truman Brewery in London, a well-established arts venue and home of the famous Free Range shows.
The PHOTOMASTERS exhibition will open with a Private View on 8 October 2015. We are arranging to get together to take in not only the PHOTOMASTERS Private View but also the Private View of The Royal Photographic Society’s International Print Exhibition so it should be an event packed with interest for photographers! Shutter Hub are planning much more as part of Photomonth in addition:
– Shutter Hub will be presenting the Shutter Hub PHOTOMASTERS Award (juried by representatives from The British Journal of Photography, The Old Truman Brewery and Shutter Hub) Friday 9 October.
– There will be PHOTOMASTERS Portfolio Reviews (which are available to participants in the PHOTOMASTERS Exhibition) with Simon Bainbridge (Editorial Director – at BJP) Tom Seymour (Online Editor – at BJP) Karen Harvey (Creative Development Director at Shutter Hub)
– We have our very own exhibition as part of Photomonth entitled Do You Like Love? (which opens at Salt & Pegram on 2 October 2015, with a Private View on 15 October).
– This year’s Photomonth Portfolio Review will take place on 28 November 2015 and will feature our own Creative Development Director Karen Harvey as one of the reviewers. For more information visit the Photomonth website or email info@alternativearts.co.uk.
