***VOTING HAS NOW CLOSED!***
The Shutter Hub OPEN is now underway, with exhibitions across three venues and each with it's own distinctive feel and atmosphere. We'd like your help in deciding this year's 'Best in Show', so please cast your vote!
Of course we really recommend that you visit our venues at Novi, Stir and Hot Numbers in Cambridge to the see works in the flesh and get the full effect. We have voting boxes and slips at each venue. If that's not possible then we have reproduced the works above for you to cast your eye over.
To vote online, simply email us at info@shutterhub.org.uk stating the name of your favourite work and the photographer's name. Only one vote per person please! We will collate the results at the end of the exhibition and announce the winner here on Shutter Hub.
As well as the prestige of winning, our sponsors at Metro Imaging have provided a really wonderful prize for the winner, which we think you will agree will be something that any photographer is going to find of enormous benefit. It includes:
– a Metro Imaging 'Master Session' – a 1 hour appointment with one of Metro Imaging's Master printers to work on and prepare your files for printing. Learning about the correct profiles for different papers, screen calibration and how your images can be enhanced by the print medium you choose.
– a Portfolio of 12 Prints at 12″x 8″ on your paper of choice (from Metro's Digital C-type range).
– a news story by Metro Imaging highlighting the winner and showcasing their work, and shared across social media by Metro Imaging and Shutter Hub.
So please cast your vote carefully. Here's wishing good luck to all our photographers!
You can find a full programme of events for the OPEN, including talks, workshops and our Portfolio Review for photographers here.
