The Shutter Hub OPEN 23/24 opened on 27 November 2023 at Art at the ARB at Cambridge University. The exhibition, which runs until 16 February 2024*, showcases the work of over 130 international photographers in a selected exhibition and promotes the future of photography through diverse and creative imagery.

Four floors of open, bright and airy space, filled with hundreds of newspaper-printed images. See more images of the exhibition and a full list of all the photographers exhibiting here.

The exhibition launched with a ‘private view’ event, alongside which we hosted the Shutter Hub Book & Zine Fair, featuring individual artists and publishing houses showcasing and selling their printed publications.

The photographers and publishers showcasing (and selling!) their publications included:

Wendy Aldiss, Moose Azim, Flora Butler, Kate Carpenter, Alice Chapman, Laura Fisher, Caroline Fraser, Alan Gignoux, Nick Hodgson, Naomi James, Jordan Nicholson, Nicola Parry, Ania Ready, Robert Richardson, Tessa Sinclair, Jo Stapleton, John Walmsley, and Dominic Whiten.

We also brought along our Shutter Hub Editions photobooks, and alongside these, fundraised for Camera Amnesty Projects with the sale of a selection of secondhand, vintage and antique books, vintage postcards, limited edition collections, accessories, and photography paraphernalia.
