BECAUSE WE CAN launched on 08 July 2018 at Festival Pil’ours, Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, France.

Festival Pil’ours is an annual international festival of photography showcasing the work of female photographers from around the world. Shutter Hub were invited to bring a group exhibition to the festival and celebrated contemporary work by female-identifying photographers from around the world – Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, United States, Qatar, and the UK.

The festival exhibition ran from 08 July – 31 August 2018.

The outdoor exhibition sites, spread throughout the Pays de St Gilles Croix de Vie, attract thousands of visitors day and night throughout the festival, making the exhibition accessible to all.
