We’ve been big fans of FORMAT festival for many years, and recommend their portfolio reviews in our Portfolio Review Guide, so we’re really pleased to be able to support photographers in 2024 by funding two bursary review slots for the FORMAT24 Portfolio Reviews.
The FORMAT Portfolio Review will take place online on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd March, during FORMAT24, meaning wherever you are in the world you can hopefully still get involved!
Shutter Hub Creative Director Karen Harvey will once again be joining the panel of expert reviewers this year, and will review the portfolios of successful bursary applicants. The Portfolio Review is aimed at committed photographers with a developed and serious approach to their work. Recent graduates are welcome.

The deadline for applications is 31 December 2023, 11:59pm GMT. Reviewers will be allocated to the selected bursary awardees based on their portfolio. Successful applicants will be notified by 5 January 2024.
