From 13 January – 21 March 2025, the Shutter Hub OPEN 2025 will bring together over 100 international photographers in a selected exhibition promoting the future of photography through diverse and creative imagery – taking over four floors of the ARB building at Cambridge University, transforming the space and covering the walls with hundreds of images printed by our favourite newspaper print partners Newspaper Club.

As always there’ll be an award for the ‘Best in Show’, where viewers will get to vote for their favourite photographs from the exhibition. This is much more about audience participation than it is about big prizes, but it’s a fun and engaging way to involve more people in responding to photography.

We’ll be hosting an exhibition launch event in January (more details coming soon!) and later in the exhibition’s run we’ll be hosting our Book & Zine Fair!

The Book & Zine Fair will take place on 01 March 2025. We’ll be bringing along our Shutter Hub Editions photobooks, and we’d love to share a wide selection of artists’ books, zines, and other printed materials too. So, whether you’ve created a one-off handmade zine or run your own publishing house, we welcome you to join us as an exhibitor. Find out more and register your interest here.
