What photography equipment do you accept?

We accept anything that could be of use to a photographer: digital and film cameras of any age, for D/SLRs to point and shoots, smartphones, tablets, laptops, film, memory cards, tripods, filters, video cameras and filming equipment, film scanners, darkroom equipment, books, and more.

I don’t have any equipment to donate. Can I support Camera Amnesty financially?

Of course, and thank you for your support. You can make a donation here.

Do I need to let you know I am sending a donation?

There is no need to register your donation, or intention to donate, you can simple post the donation to us. We are grateful for everything sent.

You can send packages to us at: Shutter Hub Camera Amnesty ℅ PCM Services Ltd, 1st Floor Office Suite, The Stable Yard, Ryston Hall, Ryston, Downham Market, England, PE38 0AA

Will you want my broken old camera?

Yes! We can find a way to make use of most photography equipment, even if it is broken.

All we ask is that you don’t send us anything mouldy! (No joke, we once had a camera arrive in a plastic bread bag, covered in mouldy bread crumbs!)

What do you do with cameras that can’t be used or fixed?

Where an item can’t be used by any of the groups (due to age, damage, unsuitability etc) rather than dispose of it, we will attempt to sell it on, and any income from this will go straight back into Camera Amnesty Projects funds.

Can I drop my donation off in person?

We are sorry, we can only accept packages by post.
