SHORTLIST ANNOUNCED: British Photography Awards 2019

From over 3700 entries, 240 images have been shortlisted for the British Photography Awards. The competition launched this year as a fundraising competition, offering some of its entry income to charities across the UK.

Amongst the shortlist are four Shutter Hub photographers: Mieke Douglas in the Pets & Domesticated Animals category, Sara Hannant in the Documentary category, Chan-yang Kim in the Street category, and Ilisa Stack in the Documentary category.

The British Photography Awards will be announced at London’s Savoy Hotel on the 28th of January 2019.

Awards will be given in the following areas:

Best Street Photographer, Best Pet Photographer, Best Wedding Photographer, Best Portrait Photographer, Best Drone Photographer, Best Sports Photographer, Best Documentary Photographer, Best Macro Photographer, Best Land Animal Photographer, Best Bird Photographer, Best Water Life Photographer, Best Landscape Photographer, Best Selfie – Nominated, Lifetime Achievement – Nominated.
