I originally studied Art & Visual Culture in Bristol many years ago back in the mid-90s, before realising that my love of food meant I wasn't really cut out to be a starving artist. I moved into graphic design and I now work as a freelance senior designer in London. Back in 2009, I bought an old Agfa half-frame film camera from a charity shop on impulse and it reignited a love of photography. Eight years on, and way too many cameras later, I'm still working away at it.

These images are from a project called One Hour Photo. Over three years from 2012-2015, I spent every lunch hour exploring the area surrounding my workplaces in Bermondsey and then Knightsbridge. The limits of the area were determined by the distance I could cover on foot, whilst still getting back to work on time. It fascinates me that you can walk the same streets time and again and yet still find these odd little elements that surprise.
