Workshop: Intermediate Film Photography – Jim Marsden & Kodak Camera Club

Share

Fine art and commercial photographer Jim Marsden still shoots most of his commercial and personal work on film, with black and white film being the majority. In this two-day workshop, Jim will spend day one discussing how to start seeing in black and white when using film, introduce black and white film stocks available, and how to best utilise them for different needs. Day two will then cover the particulars around using colour film, film stocks available and how best to utilise colour film. Both days will include shooting exercises.

The Leica Akademie analogue workshop series are run in partnership with KODAK Camera Club. Since 1920, the KODAK Camera Club’s mission has been to encourage and develop interest among its members in imaging as an art by fostering a community of photography and cinematography enthusiasts with a desire to learn, experience, and share.

Limited Leica cameras will be available to loan for the workshop (see Participant Notes for details) and other cameras of the participants’ choice are welcome. Kodak film will be provided.
