The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) is looking for an experienced practitioner/lecturer in Fine Art, Photography or Film & Digital Arts, to become Programme Director for our Fine Art and Photography courses at our Farnham campus.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with creativity, skill, enthusiasm and experience, to join the UK’s top creative specialist and to lead our undergraduate and postgraduate staff and students on this Programme as we seek to deepen our connections with industry and help define the global agenda across these disciplines.
The Programme is home to around 350 undergraduate, taught postgraduate and research degree students, and comprises 5 undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
As well as contributing to and leading on the delivery of our BA and Masters courses in the Programme, you’ll be part of the School Management Team for the School of Fine Art, Photography and Visual Communications at UCA, working closely with other Programme Directors to lead and support the wider strategic activities of the School in terms of portfolio development, recruitment and research.
Through your application you will be able to demonstrate your academic and administrative achievements, as well as your excellent management and leadership skills in motivating and directing a team, inspiring and engaging them and their students to achieve excellence.
You will have a good honours and postgraduate degree, great professional experience and knowledge of current educational issues and critical understanding of the social, cultural, economic and environmental factors influencing Fine Art, Photography and Film & Digital Arts today.
