Micro-Commission: DaDaFest

DaDaFest International is a festival of work by d/Deaf and disabled artists, and this year it’s going online! The theme will be ‘Translations’ and we’re looking to commission 10 works responding to this idea for inclusion in the festival and/or or our ongoing programme of online events.

To enter, projects must be by disabled artists or disabled-led companies based in the North West. For the purposes of this commissions we are taking the North West to be defined by the English Counties of Cumbria,Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Cheshire. Artists at all stages of their careers are eligible.

Commissions can be in any artforms, but must be shareable online – if necessary, production support and professional development opportunities may be offered to help artists develop their digital presence.

The maximum amount that can be applied for to create the work is £1,000. Commissions are also supported by disability arts commissioning programme, Unlimited, and successful applicants will become Unlimited alumni.

Deadline: 20th July 2020.
