CHEMCRAFT, Featuring Shutter Hub Member Nicolas Laborie at Espacio Gallery

CHEMCRAFT is a large international multidisciplinary exhibition featuring artists from UK, EU, USA & Asia, responding to the theme 'For Love of Chemistry'. Curated by Christina Mitrentse, the exhibition promotes a dialogue among the disciplines of Chemistry and Visual Arts including artworks made using the mediums of wet plate collodion, photography, cyanotype, screen prints, installation, sculptural configurations, painting, digital prints, text video works, film & sound.



One of the participants will be Shutter Hub member Nicolas Laborie, who produces work using the Wet Plate Collodion process. His picture “L`enfant Sauvage” ( Wild child ),  inspired by Les fleurs du Mal ( Flowers of evil ) by Charles Baudelaire. The work comes from his series “Flowers: Proses in Ether”, inspired by poetry.
